GREY WOLF

(CLEMENT) [Isolde x Grey Witch] 36" x 6" EM dor dip 2-3 way 10-16 buds (rebloom in `08), greyed purple, darker eye, white rib, gt.

One often sees grayish blooms on cool mornings, frequently with seedlings with Trahylta in their background, but I have never seen a daylily this grey on a consistent basis regardless of weather conditions. However, like many Trahlyta based cultivars, the grey will deepen by noon on sunny days. Nevertheless, the color of this flower is truly special in the morning.

Fertile both ways, but pollen is better.
