The name comes from a time many years ago when I was preparing to go on a trip to San Francisco and a friend of mine said "you know, no one was ever sent me postcard saying 'having a good time, wish you were here.'". So I bought a postcard with a picture of Alcatraz on it and put that message on it and sent it to him. The white edging on all segments makes Postcard From Alcatraz stand out in the garden. Awesome in a clump. Fertile both ways.
