LILTING LOLA

LILTING LOLA

Bret Clement 2004

Diploid, Dormant, Mid/late, 7", 50" Height, 2-3 Way Branching, 19 Budcount UF Cascade.
(Lilting Lavender x Lola Branham)

LILTING LOLA gets its name from its famous parents, LILTING LAVENDER X LOLA BRANHAM. Due to the fact that both parents set pods only with difficulty, this is a nearly impossible cross and I would be surprised if any one else has successfully made this cross.   Hence, it represents a relatively untapped gene pool for the breeder.  Alas, like its parents it too sets pods only with difficulty.  However, the pollen is fairly fertile.  It was a tossup whether to register this as ML or L.  Regardless of which, LILTING LOLA was blooming long past the time most things were finished blooming this past summer.

Fertile Both Ways
